It's the beer talking

I really got a bad memory for dates but I think it was Circa 2003...
Does anyone remember? Working Title Comics, later Pulp21?
It was a webcomic project spawned from the creative forum of the first Millarworld board (some of the folks there decided to give a collective go to that new webcomic thing).

Sounded like fun and a good chance to draw comic books again (I've spent the past 3-4 years without doing so) and I offered my services as an artist. One of the projects I drew there was It's the beer talking, written by none other than Russell Hillman, the now infamous editor of Halloween Man. As far as I remember project got a good reception and we ended doing three stories before the strip went on hiatus. Some of them were published in print form here and there but never together. Until now...

"Samurai and dinosaurs" a graphic novel

Since past March most of my working hours had been spent in a little monster book called Samurai and dinosaurs and at long last... here it is  available at IndyPlanet our usual dealer of comic book debauchery (http://indyplanet.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=4560).

"Samurai and dinosaurs" cover
Samurai and dinosaur is an ORIGINAL GRAPHIC NOVEL, not a reprint, not a silly collection of odds and ends. This book is a massive 110 pages beast written by Michael Murphy (of Nothing Ever Lasts fame and in my honest opinion this is the best thing Mike's written) and drawn by yours truly.

What's Samurai and dinosaur  about?... Well, the title is kind of self-explanatory but apart of that you'll find there high doses of mystery, action and hemoglobin. You've been warned!

A ragtag group of samurai is gathered to investigate the fall of a mysterious meteor in the outskirts of  Ootoko Kakan and... Know what? You better take a gander at some members of our cast.

And what about a small appetizer?

Enjoy!
